Sir Duke Von West
Duke became a wonderful Christmas gift in winter 2010. He was a mellow, sweet, and gentle giant of a lap dog, despite his large size. He loved attention and was very fond of cats. Unfortunately, Duke was lost to us in January of 2013 when he passed away unexpectedly. He will remain our most cherished and beloved family pet, and we can certainly never forget the joy, happiness, and wonderful puppies he brought into our lives. R.I.P Duke.

King Vom Haus Overmyer
King's puppies have gone on to become great service dogs, family pets, and companions. He and Duchess' babies are truly one-of-a-kind, and we always hate to see them go. King will no longer be having puppies with us, but his legacy will continue with his daughters Honey Bunn, Tootie, Mercedes and granddaughters Angel and Pumpkin. We will miss you and you will always have place in our hearts. RIP King

Duchess Die Finstemis
Duchess had her first litter with us in July of 2010 and went on to produce even more adorable and loving puppies perfect for any family. She is a shy, sweet girl that loves hugs and kisses from all of her humans. Before we rescued her, Duchess was a former kennel dog, and she has a hard time holding her ears up straight. She is the perfect example of why Shepherds need the gift of open spaces in which to roam, run, and stretch their legs. Duchess have passed due to liver disease. She will always be my comparison animal because there will never be another one like her. RIP Duchess

Sappington's Ruby
Ruby came to us in winter 2012 and is the sister of the late Sir Duke Von West. She is a beautiful sable German Shepherd who has mothered many wonderful litters of gorgeous family friends and companions. Ruby has had to have a C-section on her last litter because she had an extreemly large puppy stuck, thanks Brutus. So in the process we decided to have her spayed so there wouldn't be anymore issues like this again. She is now retired and going to live with friends of the family in Iowa! She will have to get her winter coat back!
